The international workshop
Collective Information Processing – From Sensory Inputs to Collective Behavior and Collective Decision Making.
will take place at the March 4th-6th 2020, at the Campus Nord of the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Germany.
The interdisciplinary, focused 2.5 day workshop welcomes researchers working on different aspects of collective animal behavior. It is meant to provide the opportunity for fruitful exchange and discussions on current developments and interdisciplinary challenges in in the field of collective behavior by bringing together scientist from behavioral biology, mathematical modeling and neuroscience. A specific emphasis of the workshop shall be on the role of individual sensing and cognition in social interactions and emergent group level behaviors.
